A man, identified as Rashed Akram al-Hariri from al-Sawara village in eastern rural Daraa governorate, died on January 1, 2025, of wounds sustained on December 8, 2024, that were caused by gunfire of unidentified source in Damascus city. The area is under the control of the current transitional authorities in Syria.
The Syrian Network for Human Rights (SNHR) has not yet been able to identify which party is responsible for Rashed’s death as of this writing. The controlling forces must uphold their responsibilities in identifying his killers.
