SNHR releases daily brief death toll reports on civilian killings that violate the principles of international human rights law and international humanitarian law by the parties to the conflict and controlling forces in Syria. SNHR has been releasing these reports for over 10 years on a daily basis, with new civilian deaths recorded every day in that period with no exception. SNHR condemns any and all operations by any party that result in civilian deaths Also, SNHR must stress that the Assad regime and its allies have been responsible for the vast majority of all civilian deaths taking place in Syria, with about 91 percent of over 250,000 civilian deaths recorded by SNHR to date, while bearing in mind that the actual death toll is probably far larger.
