A man, his wife, and child, identified respectively as Mohammad Khalil al-Ayyoub, Fattouma, and Suleiman from al-Qashla village to the southeast of Manbij city in eastern rural Aleppo governorate, were shot dead on December 30, 2024, by Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) patrol who shot the three directly near their house in al-Qashla village. The area is under the control of SDF.
The Syrian Network for Human Rights (SNHR) notes that SDF has violated international human rights law through this act of killing. The perpetrators must be held accountable.
