On November 21, 2023, the body of a man, identified as 28-year-old Mohammad Khaled Khamis, was found by local residents on the road connecting Tafas city and his home town of al-Mzayreeb in western rural Daraa governorate.
The area is under the control of Syrian regime forces. The Syrian Network for Human Rights (SNHR) has not been able to identify Mohammad’s killers as of this writing. The controlling forces bear responsibility for identifying his killers.
