A man, identified as 77-year-old, Helal Saed al-Haj Hamdou from Manbij city in eastern rural Aleppo governorate, was shot dead on December 18, 2024, by unidentified gunmen who raided his house in Manbij city. The area is under the control of the Syrian National Army (SNA).
The Syrian Network for Human Rights (SNHR) is still trying to locate eyewitnesses to obtain more information about the incident.
