A child, Karam Ali Muhammad, from Qerzaihel village of Afrin city in northern Aleppo governorate, died on October 13, 2022 due to wounds sustained during clashes “Al-Hamza and Sultan Suleiman Shah” factions of the Syrian National Army forces and the Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham against the Third Corps faction of the Syrian National Army in the village.
SNHR has been unable to identify which party was responsible for the the child’s death as of yet.
SNRH condemns the ongoing clashes between factions in the Syrian National Army and Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham against other factions of the Syrian National Army forces since October 12, 2022 until the moment of publishing this news, and calls for an immediate halt to the clashes to ensure the protection of civilians in those areas, and to prevent damage to civilians and civilian objects.
