A boy, identified as 17-year-old Fadi Yousef Seran from Mahajja town in northern rural Daraa governorate, died on December 26, 2024, of wounds sustained three days earlier, on December 23, 2024, when he was hit by gunfire of unidentified source in Mahajja town. The area is under the control of the current transitional authorities in Syria.
The Syrian Network for Human Rights (SNHR) has not yet been able to identify which party is responsible for Fadi’s death as of this writing. The controlling forces must uphold their responsibilities in identifying his killers.
