The bodies of two civilians from Tseel town west of Daraa governorate, Muhammad Yaqoub al Qarfan and Saif Asheq al Salamat, were found by residents in farmlands near Tafas city in Daraa governorate western suburbs on April 22, 2022 bearing gunshot wounds. Both civilians went missing two days before.

The area is under the control of the Syrian regime forces, SNHR has so far been unable to identify the party responsible for his abduction and death. Although the controlling forces in the area bear responsibility for revealing the party responsible for the killing, these forces haven’t launched any investigation, which indicates they may be involved in this murder and similar incidents.
