Qusai Nasr al-Zeer, a pediatrician from Tal al-Dura village in eastern rural Hama governorate who is serving as the head of the Training and Rehabilitation Committee at the Syrian Board, was abducted on January 19, 2025, by unidentified gunmen who raided his clinic in the Mazza Jabal area in Damascus city. He was then taken to an undisclosed location.
The Syrian Network for Human Rights (SNHR) has not yet been able to identify his abductors as of this writing. We condemn all abductions and arbitrary arrests.
