Hamad Ayoub al Ma’youf, from Raqqa city, age 26, was shot and killed on April 20, 2022 by Syrian Democratic Forces personnel near al Aqtan Center northeastern Raqqa city, after a verbal altercation between him and SDF personnel at a checkpoint.
SNHR notes that the Syrian Democratic Forces have violated the international human rights law through this action, and the perpetrators must be held accountable.
