The body of a man, named as Munir Aziz al Aziz, born in 1967, was discovered by locals in Hasaka city on January 22, 2021, bearing signs of wounds inflicted by a sharp implement.
Although the SNHR is unable to identify the party responsible for the man’s killing, the area is controlled by the Syrian Democratic Forces. Despite the controlling forces bearing responsibility for revealing the perpetrator’s identity, they have not launched any investigation, which increases the suspicion of their involvement in the killing.
