A man from Swaidan Jazira village in the eastern suburbs of Deir Ez-Zour governorate, named as Saleh Ismail al Awaji, was shot dead by Syrian regime forces’ personnel in al Qouriya city in the eastern suburbs of the governorate on January 21, 2021.
SNHR notes that the Syrian regime forces have committed a violation of international humanitarian law through this indiscriminate killing, for which the perpetrator must be held accountable.
