The media activist Jehad Jamal “known as Milan” born in 1972, has a bachelor degree at faculty of law in Aleppo University, from Aleppo city, was arrested on March 7, 2012, by Syrian regime forces from Ninar coffee shop in Bab Sharqi neighborhood in Damascus city and was taken to Palestine Branch in Damascus city. On April 13, 2020, SNHR received information confirming his death due to torture in a detention center in Damascus city. Jehad’s family was also informed in the last February that he is dead in 2016, in accordance with the Civil Registry.
