The handcuffed body of a displaced person from al Rayyan village in Homs governorate, named as Musa al Mustafa, was discovered on December 2, 2021, by local families in Marea city in the eastern suburbs of Aleppo governorate.
Although the SNHR is unable to identify the party responsible for the civilian’s killing, the area is currently controlled by the Syrian National Army. Despite the controlling forces bearing responsibility for revealing the perpetrator’s identity, they have not launched any investigation which increases the suspicion of their involvement in the killing.
