Abdul Razzaq Hamoud Hamad al Saleh, known as Hamoud al Khadijeh, from the Jerthi village in the eastern suburbs of Deir Ez-Zour governorate, was arrested in 2016, by Syrian regime forces. Since then, he was enforced to disappear as Syrian regime denies his detention and doesn’t allow anyone to visit him even a lawyer. On May 10, 2020, SNHR received information states that he died. We have data confirms that he was in a good health at the time of his arrest which indicate that he probably died due to torture.

We assured that Syrian regime forces didn’t hand over his corpse which is a popular practice of Syrian regime inside the detentions centers for the most majority of dead persons inside the centers. Syrian regime gets rid of corpses through deliberate burning operations where any person’s corpse was not handed over is deemed as forcibly disappeared person.
