Two men, identified as Ali Yasser M’anna and Tareq Ghaleb M’anna from Yahmour village in rural Tartus governorate, were shot dead on March 20, 2025, from a passing car at the entrance of Yahmour village. The area is under the control of the current transitional authorities in Syria.
The Syrian Network for Human Rights (SNHR) is still trying to locate eyewitnesses to obtain more information about the incident.
We call on the controlling forces to uphold their responsibilities in protecting civilians in their areas, investigate this incident, and make the findings available to the public.
