A boy was shot and injured On March 11, 2025, by personnel from Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) who opened fire indiscriminately in Abu Hamam town in eastern rural Deir Ez-Zour governorate. The area is under the control of SDF.
The Syrian Network for Human Rights (SNHR) notes that SDF has violated international human rights law by targeting civilians. The perpetrators must be held accountable.
