On March 11, 2025, two siblings, identified as Nour al-Din and Emad al-Labbad from al-Sanamayn city in northern rural Daraa governorate, were shot dead by unidentified gunmen who raided their house in al-Sanamayn city before shooting the two. The area is under the control of the current transitional authorities in Syria.
The Syrian Network for Human Rights (SNHR) is still trying to locate eyewitnesses to obtain more information about the incident.
We call on the controlling forces to uphold their responsibilities in protecting civilians in their areas, investigate this incident, and make the findings available to the public.
