A man, identified as Hamid Mekhlef al-Hamad from Jedid Bakkara town in eastern rural Deir Ez-Zour governorate, was killed on March 10, 2025, by gunfire of unidentified source in Jedid Bakkara town. The area is under the control of Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF).
The Syrian Network for Human Rights (SNHR) has not yet been able to identify who was responsible for Hamid’s death as of this writing. The controlling forces must uphold their responsibilities in identifying his killers.
