On February 18, 2025, the body of a man, identified as Suleiman Adib al-Rashid from Homs city’s al-Nuzha neighborhood who worked as a transport bus driver, was found bearing gunshot wounds by local residents in the farms of al-Wa’er neighborhood in Homs city. Suleiman had gone missing the day before. The area is under the control of the current translation authorities in Syria.
The Syrian Network for Human Rights (SNHR) has not yet been able to identify who is responsible for Suleiman’s death as of this writing. The controlling forces must uphold their responsibilities in identifying his killers.
