A man, identified as Khaled Kheir al-Muhi from al-S’iedien village in the rural areas of Manbij city in eastern rural Aleppo governorate, was shot and killed on December 24, 2024, by a Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) sniper stationed in the vicinity of Tishreen Dam in southeastern Mnabij city while he was in front of his house in al-S’iedien village. The area is under the control of the Syrian National Army (SNA).
The Syrian Network for Human Rights (SNHR) notes that SDF has violated international human rights law through this act of killing. The perpetrators must be held accountable.
