On December 26, 2022, a fire broke out in Tal Sallor IDP Camp near Jendeires town in the northern suburbs of Aleppo governorate.

The fire, caused by the explosion of a space heater, completely destroyed two tents, with no human injuries recorded.

The Syrian Network for Human Rights urges international relief groups to act urgently to meet the basic needs of IDPs in camps, and calls on the camps’ administrations to secure additional tents for emergencies.
