Ms. Khansa Al-Abji, a displaced from the village of Sarj Far ‘a south of Aleppo governorate, was killed on October 12, 2022, after she was hit during clashes between the factions of “al Hamza Brigade and Sultan Suleiman Shah”, which are affiliated to the Syrian National Army forces and Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham, against the Third Corps faction, which is also affiliated with the Syrian National Army forces in the village of Ain Darra of Afrin city in the northern Aleppo governorate.

SNHR has not been able to determine which of the two parties has caused the death of the woman so far.

SNHR condemns the ongoing clashes between factions in the SNA forces and HTS against other factions of the SNA forces since October 12, 2022 as of this writing, and demands that the clashes cease immediately to ensure the protection of civilians in these areas and to prevent damage to civilian objects.
