Walid Ibrahim al Nouman, aged 25, from Tal Tawil village of Tal Tamr town in northwestern Hasaka governorate, was shot and killed by Syrian Democratic Forces personnel after he attempted to escape from his parents’ home in Tal Tawil village, during a raid on the house by SDF personnel.
SNHR notes that the Syrian Democratic Forces have violated international human rights law through this killing, and the perpetrators must be held accountable.
