On March 25, 2025, the dead body of a man, identified as Kefah Khadr Wasouf from al-Sa’n town in eastern rural Hama governorate, was found bearing gunshot wounds by local residents at the entrance of al-Sa’n town. Kefah’s dead body was found after he had been abducted 10 days ago by unidentified gunmen on the al-Sa’n-Hama road in eastern Hama governorate. The area is under the control of the current transitional authorities in Syria.
The Syrian Network for Human Rights (SNHR) has not yet been able to identify who is responsible for Kefah’s death as of this writing. The controlling forces must uphold their responsibilities in identifying his killers.
