On March 15, 2025, the dead body of a man, identified as Ali Shahoud al-Shahoud from al-Ghour al-Gharbi village in western rural Homs governorate, was found by local residents inside his house on the road connecting the villages of al-Ghour al-Gharbi and Taldao in western Homs governorate. The area is under the control of the current transitional authorities in Syria.
The Syrian Network for Human Rights (SNHR) has not yet been able to identify who is responsible for Ali’s death as of this writing. The controlling forces must uphold their responsibilities in identifying his killers.
