A man, identified as Mohammad Ahmad Zidan al-Nasser from Inkhil city in northern rural Daraa governorate, was shot dead on March 6, 2025, by unidentified gunmen while he was in a car on the road connecting Inkhil city and Samlin town in northern Daraa governorate. The area is under the control of the current transitional authorities in Syria.

The Syrian Network for Human Rights (SNHR) notes that Mohammad is a civilian who had never been involved with any military formation.
SNHR is still trying to locate eyewitnesses to obtain more information about the incident.
We call on the controlling forces to uphold their responsibilities in protecting civilians in their areas, investigate this incident, and make the findings available to the public.
