A man, identified as 26-year-old Firas Ali Khalil from Ein al-Tina al-Sharqiya village in western rural Homs governorate, was shot dead on March 1, 2025, by unidentified gunmen at the entrance of Ein al-Tina al-Sharqiya village. The area is under the control of the current transitional authorities in Syria.
The Syrian Network for Human Rights (SNHR) is still trying to locate eyewitnesses to obtain more information about the incident.
