A man, identified as Ayman Fatahat Suleiman from al-Aziziya village in Sahl al-Ghab district in western rural Hama governorate, was shot dead on February 11, 2025, by unidentified gunmen from a passing motorbike at al-Aziziya village’s eastern entrance. The area is under the control of the current transitional authorities in Syria.
The Syrian Network for Human Rights (SNHR) is still trying to locate eyewitnesses to obtain more information about the incident.
We call on the controlling forces to uphold their responsibilities in protecting civilians in their areas, investigate this incident, and make the findings available to the public.
