A boy, identified as 17-year-old Hesham Anwar al-Oudat Allah from Nawa city in western rural Daraa governorate, was injured by the explosion of a hand grenade that exploded while he was tampering with inside his family’s house in Nawa city. He was then transferred to Daraa National Hospital for treatment. The area is under the control of the current transitional authorities in Syria.

The Syrian Network for Human Rights (SNHR) is still trying to locate eyewitnesses to obtain more information about the incident.
We also condemn the unchecked circulation of weapons among civilian populations with no restrictions or regulations. The controlling forces must contain and address this issue.
