Two men, one of them is identified as Mohammad Abdul Razzaq Qebbani while the other was unidentified who worked with the Engineering Teams of Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham (HTS), were killed on January 4, 2025, by the explosion of a landmine of unidentified source while disarming landmines in al-Bawwabiya village in southern Aleppo governorate. The area is under the control of the current transitional authorities in Syria.
The Syrian Network for Human Rights (SNHR) is trying to locate eyewitnesses to obtain more information about the incident.
