A man boy identified as 12-year-old Zakariya al-Abd al-Hussein al-Taha from Abu Hardoub village in eastern Deir Ez-Zour governorate, was shot and killed by a Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) patrol that shot him directly after he raised a victory sign in front of them in Abu Hardoub village. The area is under the control of SDF.
The Syrian Network for Human Rights (SNHR) notes that SDF have violated international human rights law through this act of killing. The perpetrators must be held accountable.
