On December 9, 2024, four civilians were shot and killed by a Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) sniper in Manbij city in eastern Aleppo governorate. The area is under the control of the Syrian National Army (SNA).
The Syrian Network for Human Rights (SNHR) note that SDF has violated international human rights law through these acts of killing. The perpetrators must be held accountable.
