On December 3, 2024, a woman and a boy died of cold and lack of healthcare in Raqqa governorate, after fleeing there from Aleppo city. The area is under the control of Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF).
The Syrian Network for Human Rights (SNHR) condemns the negligence of the controlling forces and their failure to care for the residents in their territories.
We hold the controlling forces responsible for what happened. An investigation must be launched to identify the reasons for this negligence and to hold those responsible accountable.
