The dead body of Assad al-Breqea’, man from Raqqa governorate, was found on December 12, 2022, by local residents in the Badiya of al-Tabaqa city in the western suburbs of Raqqa governorate with gunshot wounds.
The area is under the control of Syrian regime forces. The Syrian Network for Human Rights has not been able to identify the party responsible for Assad’s murder as of this writing, with the controlling forces bearing responsibility for identifying his killers.
