Members of the Syrian Democratic Forces’ Revolutionary Youth wing used bladed weapons, to attack the offices of the World Health Organization and the United Nations office located in al-Seyahi Street in Qameshli in the northeastern suburbs of Hasaka governorate, on October 19, 2022. They broke windows, removed the doors of some guard rooms, and smashed surveillance cameras, in addition to raising banners in support of the PKK. The city of Qameshli is under the control of the Syrian Democratic Forces.

The Syrian Network for Human Rights condemns this attack, and we hold the Syrian Democratic Forces responsible for what happened, and we demand that they open an investigation into the incident and hold those involved accountable.
