Syrian regime forces used a guided missile to bomb a car belonging to a family who were picking olives in an agricultural area adjacent to Majdaliya village in the southern suburbs of Idlib governorate, on October 20, 2022, injuring two children from the family, as well as inflicting extensive damage on the car.
The two injured children have been identified as 12-year-old Awad Muhammad al-Qassum and seven-year-old Muhanna Khaled Qassum, both of whom are from Kafr Batikh village, east of Idlib governorate.
The Syrian Network for Human Rights condemns Syrian regime forces’ bombardment of civilian areas, and their failure to distinguish between civilian areas and military targets.
