A fire broke out at Kortak Camp for IDPs near Mesh’ala village of Afrin city in northern Aleppo governorate on the evening of October 14, 2022, caused by gunfire during clashes between Hay’at Tahrir al Sham and the Third Corps of the Syrian National Army.

The fire burned down six tents and damaged 25 others; however, no injuries were recorded.

SNHR condemns these clashes and calls for an immediate and permanent end to them, as well as for compensation for victims.
