A media activist from Beza’a city in Aleppo governorate eastern suburbs, Muhammad Abdul Latif, known as “Abo Ghanoum”, who is a resident of al Bab city east of the governorate was killed along with his wife on October 7, 2022. Unidentified gunmen shot them both near al Marwaha Circle east of al Bab city, which is controlled by the Syiran National Army.

SNHR notes that his wife, Hanan Muhammad al Hasan, was in the first months of her pregnancy

SNHR is still trying to contact witnesses for more details on the incident.

SNHR condemns all killings of civilians and calls on the controlling forces to assume their responsibility for protecting the civilian population in areas under their control and to launch an investigation into this incident and reveal its conclusions to the public.
