Three siblings, Muhammad (14), Deljan (13), Eyjan Ahmad (12), from Sheeran village of Ein al Arab city in the eastern suburbs of Aleppo governorate, were abducted by personnel from the Syrian Democratic Forces-affiliated Revolutionary Youth (Joanne Schurchkar) group for military conscription in the village on October 6, 2022. They were taken to a recruitment center.
SNHR notes that the children’s parents have not been informed of their whereabouts, and they haven’t been allowed to contact their family, who are also forbidden from visiting them. We fear they may be forced to participate directly or indirectly in military operations, and confirm that around 213 children are still conscripted in Syrian Democratic Forces camps.
