The bodies of 61-year-old Huda Zaki Zeibar and her 65-year-old husband Turki Bayas were found by residents in Kaftein village in the northwestern suburbs of Idlib governorate in the morning of August 20, 2022, bearing gunshot wounds.
The village is under the control of Hay’at Tahrir al Sham. SNHR has so far been unable to identify the party responsible for his killing. The controlling forces are responsible for revealing the perpetrating party.
