Muhammad Ahmad al Hamada al Sahl, from Hawayej Boumas’a village west of Deir Ez-Zour governorate was shot and killed on June 26, 2022 by unidentified gunmen in * Dael city in the northern suburbs of Daraa governorate, which is under the control of the Syrian regime forces
SNHR is still trying to reach eyewitnesses for more details of the incident.
SNHR condemns all killings of civilians and calls on controlling forces to assume their responsibility for protecting the civilian population in areas under their control and to launch an investigation into this incident and reveal its conclusions to the public.
There will be no stability in Syria without a genuine political process moving towards democracy, implemented according to a set timetable.
According to information we received from activists, we previously published that Muhammad Ahmad al Hamada al Sahl was killed by unidentified gunmen in Daraa city, however after further investigations and follow-up we learned that the victim was killed in Dael city in the northern suburbs of Daraa governorate, and the news report was updated accordingly, on June 29, 2022
