Hikmat Nadim Mohammad al Jasem from Arab Hasan village near Manbej city in the east of Aleppo governorate was shot dead on February 6, 2022, by Syrian National Army personnel near the village, with his killers using the pretext that a member of his family had been smuggling food goods from areas under Syrian National Army control to areas under Syrian Democratic Forces’ control.
SNHR stresses that the Syrian National Army has again violated international human rights law through these killings, and the perpetrators must be held accountable.
