A woman, named as Hanifah Yasin A’rabi, and another woman whose name hasn’t yet been confirmed, both of whom were wives of a former member of Hay’at Tahrir al Sham, Ibrahim Rahhaleh, were shot dead by gunmen whose identities haven’t yet been learnt in a raid on their farm where they were living with their husband to the west of Idlib city on December 18, 2021. The area is under the joint control of Armed Opposition factions and Hay’at Tahrir al Sham.
SNHR is unable to identify the party responsible for the civilian’s killing while the controlling forces bear responsibility for revealing the perpetrator’s identity.
