A man, named as Khalaf Wahhab, was shot dead by Syrian Democratic Forces on December 13, 2021, along with his two sons, Hamad and Muhmmad and another man whose name hasn’t yet been received, as they tried to escape for fear of being arrested during a raid by the SDF personnel backed by a US-led Coalition drone on their home in al Bseira city in the eastern suburbs of Deir Ez-Zour governorate.
SNHR notes that the SDF have committed another violation of international humanitarian law through this indiscriminate killing, for which the perpetrator must be held accountable.
