On October 25, 2021, al Dana city was subjected to an artillery attack whose source hasn’t yet been identified by SNHR, with the primary parties suspected of responsibility for the attack being Russian and Syrian regime forces, since the shelling emanated from an area controlled by them. The investigation process is still underway to specifically identify the party responsible for the bombing.
Shells used in the bombing hit the building of the Salvation Government’s Directorate of Transportation, severely damaging its structure and furniture. Other shells landed near the Civil Defense Center adjacent to the transport directorate building, partially damaging the center’s structure and equipment.
