The body of a taxi driver from Homs city, named as Munsef Hasan al Hasan, was discovered on October 9, 2021, in al Rqama area in the eastern suburbs of Homs governorate, three days after he went missing on October 6, 2021, after leaving his home.
Although the SNHR is unable to identify the party responsible for the civilian’s killing, the area is controlled by Syrian regime forces. Despite the controlling forces bearing responsibility for revealing the perpetrator’s identity, they have not launched any investigation, which increases the suspicion of their involvement in the killing.
