The body of a man from Ma’aret Misreen town in north of Idlib governorate, named as Amir Haidar, was discovered by residents in the town on October 10, 2021, bearing gunshot wounds.
Although the SNHR is unable to identify the party responsible for the civilian’s killing, the area is under the joint control of factions from the Armed Opposition and Hay’at Tahrir al Sham. Despite the controlling forces bearing responsibility for revealing the perpetrator’s identity, they have not launched any investigation, increasing the suspicion of their involvement in the killing.
