A girl, named as Ayah Soufia Samer Tqeiqah, died on July 19, 2021, due to wounds inflicted in the evening of July 17, 2021, in an attack targeting her family house in north Ihsem town in the southern suburbs of Idlib governorate using a shell whose origin haven’t been identified yet. although SNHR has so far been unable to identify the party responsible for the attack, with the primary parties suspected of responsibility for it being Russian and Syrian regime forces, since the shelling emanated from an area under their control. The investigation process is still underway to identify the party responsible for the shelling.
The attack caused a massacre against children and women who are all from Ayah’s family including three of her siblings.
