A man from al Mrei’iya village in the eastern suburbs of Deir Ez-Zour governorate, named as Ryad Ali Mahmoud al Khazzam, was shot dead on July 15, 2021 by Syrian Democratic Forces personnel in al Takihi village which is administratively a part of al Bseira county in the eastern suburbs of the governorate.
SNHR notes that the Syrian Democratic Forces have committed another violation of international humanitarian law through this indiscriminate killing, for which the perpetrator must be held accountable.
